Judge’s Bench Desk

In the knee hole desk dates from 1835. It was donated by Aaron B. Cox. This desk was used by the Nacogdoches County judges from 1856 to 1923. The desk which is large in stature, has a dark wood finish. The front contains knee-shaped embellished carvings while the opposite door side has ornamental drawer pulls.
