Seth Thomas Clock
The Seth Thomas Clock, a well sought after brand in the mid– to late–1800s. The clock was made in Thomaston, Connecticut around the 1850s. It is a mahogany wood with gold leaf details and hand painted glass. The clock was donated by Ella Chapman Smith, the daughter of L. H. Chapman who was a Representative of Texas. This item was the first piece that Mrs. Smith and her husband bought for their house.
