Square Piano
The Empire style square piano was the most popular piano type between the 1850s and the 1880s. The rosewood veneer and ornate cabriole legs made this piano a show stopping piece when entertaining guests. The piano was originally shipped to Denum Piano Company / DenumMoving and Storage in Lufkin, Texas and was never picked up by the customer. The Denum Piano Company donated the piano to the Nacogdoches University Building where it has been displayed and used ever since.
